“Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:11
Fellowship is defined as "Friendly association, especially with people who share one's interests."
The Fellowship Committee plans and executes on several activities brining our friends and parishioners at St. Mary’s together in fellowship to enjoy social activities that strengthen and building relationships across ourselves and the community.. Activities include, but are not limited to Sunday breakfast, coffee hour, parish picnic and cooking contests, annual October Seafood Fest, international dinner with a successful “Midnight at the Oasis” event in 2017 bringing forward new faces and experiences for all, Seder Dinner, Easter Brunch, and more schedule permitting.
The committee members meet regularly to share ideas and strives to find a balance of activities for all.
The Fellowship Committee welcomes your involvement, your ideas and your love and enthusiasm to become part of a fun group of people. We, the committee members, plan together, test the status quo and execute with love and enthusiasm. We are looking for folks to spearhead and lead activities, create and inspire new activities to generate enthusiasm and excitement in our church community. In addition to leaders, we also need committee members that can roll up their sleeves and contribute their time and talent to make events happen. To learn more or to get involved, please contact me the Fellowship chair. It’s never too late to join.
